Karl Freienmuth joined Vx in 2005 as a Senior Vice President Marketing, responsible for remarketing and origination. He oversees the firm’s aircraft remarketing efforts, manages the engine portfolio and originates new transactions.

His prior experience includes roles as Senior Vice President of Compass Capital Corporation, VP Operations for Champion Air, Chief Administrative Officer at Sun Country Airlines and VP Maintenance and Engineering for Aloha Airlines. Karl began his airline career with Pacific Southwest Airlines where he was manager of the main maintenance base in San Diego. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an F-105 crew chief and C-141 flight engineer.

Karl holds a Bachelors Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well as U.S. Commercial Pilot, Flight Engineer and Mechanic certificates. He has two children and resides in Wayzata, Minnesota.
