Eric Adema joined Vx in 2003 as a Principal, responsible for transaction origination. His focus is on acquiring aircraft, restructuring defaulted leases, and overseeing investments in aircraft ABS. He was closely involved in the negotiation and restructuring activities of the United, Delta and Northwest Airline Chapter 11 bankruptcies.

Prior to Vx, Eric was Finance Director at Ocean Power Corporation, an alternative energy company based in New York. His earlier experience includes roles with Citigroup in leveraged finance in London, and corporate and investment banking for industrial clients in Oslo, Norway. He also worked in private placements at Deutsche Bank in London.

Eric holds a B.A. from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as an Ambassador to California Trout, is an active member of The Guardsmen, and is the Bay Area Chair for the Wharton Private Equity Network.
