Robert (Bob) Brown is a founding partner of Vx Capital. Bob’s responsibilities include transaction origination, capital sourcing and asset management – as well as general management matters.

During his 21 year aviation career, Bob has purchased numerous commercial aircraft and has been actively involved in all aspects of aircraft investment and management.

Previous to Vx, Bob spent 13 years at Pegasus Aviation where he was Executive Vice President. During his tenure at Pegasus, Bob was responsible for all aircraft financings, including three ABS transactions through which $2.5 billion was raised.

Bob has been a board member of the International Society of transport Aircraft and Trading (ISTAT) Foundation and served as its chairman in 2006 and 2007. He is currently the manager of ISTAT AirLink, a humanitarian aid initiative of the ISTAT Foundation.

Bob holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Washington. Bob is married with three children and resides in San Francisco, California.
