Robert Brown
Robert (Bob) Brown is one of the founding partners of Vx Capital Partners. Bob’s responsibilities include transaction sourcing, financing and restructuring, as well as general partnership management duties. In his 18 year career, Bob has purchased scores of aircraft including models built by Boeing, McDonnell Douglas and Airbus. He has also been actively involved with airline restructurings including those of Continental, TWA, United, Northwest and Delta, Avianca and Varig. Bob has also been responsible for three ABS transactions through which $2.5 billion was financed as well as numerous other financings. Prior to launching Vx, he was Executive Vice President of Pegasus Aviation, Inc.

Bob is a board member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft and Trading (ISTAT) and serves as Vice-Chairman of the ISTAT Foundation (www.istat.org.) He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington. Bob is married with three children and resides in San Francisco. He is a sports enthusiast who enjoys skiing, biking and fly fishing.
