Karl Freienmuth
Karl Freienmuth joined Vx Capital Partners in 2005 as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He is responsible for remarketing the company’s aircraft, originating new business and supporting other Vx origination acquisition and asset management efforts. Karl brings to Vx over 25 years experience in airline fleet planning and operations management, as well as six years in the aircraft leasing and trading business.

Prior to Vx, Karl served as Vice President of Operations for Champion Air, Chief Administrative Officer at Sun Country Airlines and Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering for Aloha Airlines. His airline career began with Pacific Southwest Airlines where he was manager of the airline’s main maintenance base in San Diego. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an F-105 crew chief and C-141 flight engineer.

Karl earned his bachelors degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds U.S. Commercial Pilot, Flight Engineer and Mechanic Certificates. He has two children and resides in Navarre, Minnesota.
